3 JOHN 2 "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth."


Health and nutrition, second to the personal knowledge of Jesus Christ, may be the most important information about which you can learn.  Knowledge of Jesus Christ can bring us into a saving relationship with the One who has power to allow us into heaven, or send us where we deserve to be, hell.  Knowledge of health and nutrition is what MIGHT allow you to live an extended, exuberant, disease free, energetic life.


GOING SLOW
If you want to a healthier diet, all you need to do is buy three to five extra pieces of fruit a week.  This will cause it to be at your house and you will be more likely to eat the food.  If the fruit is not at your house, you can not eat the fruit.  After a month or two, you will form a habit of eating that extra piece of fruit.  This is when you add another piece of fruit to your diet during a different part of your day.  Slow and steady, season by season is how you increase your fruits and vegetable intake and decrease foods that are bad for you.  It has taken nearly two years for me to change my diet and I am so thankful I have.

Month after month or season after season, as you continue to substitute processed foods with fresh and raw fruits and vegetables you will realize that after a few years, you will be eating four or five more servings of fruits and vegetables a day.  Yes it may take a few years but the benefits of a healthy diet will last generations.   

STARTING YOUNG
Feed your children fresh fruits and vegetables while they are still children, and as they grow up, they will be accustom to eating healthy.  On the other hand, if you harm them by taking them to fast food once or twice a week, you are giving them the idea that eating fast food is okay for them and possibly good!  We all know that fast food is awful for you and fast food is why a majority of American's are obese.  As you continue in life, discipline yourself to eat fresh fruits and vegetables every day and the taste will be one that you come to enjoy.
